Overview of the Role

Our Client is seeking an experienced AI Engineer with a strong foundation in software development and a passion for innovation. You will lead AI-driven projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business challenges in the automotive industry. This SF/Bay Area-based role supports a hybrid work model, with in-office collaboration 2-3 days per week to enhance teamwork and engagement. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead AI initiatives using existing models and frameworks to address challenges.
• Manage the AI lifecycle: modeling, training, validation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Apply expertise in LLMs, computer vision, time series, RAG, and traditional ML.
• Stay updated on AI advancements to implement state-of-the-art solutions.
• Analyse data to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
• Ensure data privacy and security compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to design effective AI solutions.
• Oversee projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in a relevant field; Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or C++ with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and AI platforms.
• Experienced with data tools like Databricks, Spark, and proficient in SQL.
• Skilled in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
