Senior Sales Manager

Our Client is a major global technology supplier, partnered with leading automotive OEMs, delivering advanced solutions within the electric vehicle and battery technology space.

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will drive strategic business growth across the region through new business acquisition, expansion of key accounts, and execution of commercial strategies. You will act as the primary commercial interface for major customers, leading complex negotiations and aligning cross-functional teams to achieve long-term business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new business acquisition activities across strategic accounts and high-growth customers
  • Manage and grow key OEM accounts, ensuring long-term profitability, retention, and strategic positioning
  • Develop and execute account strategies, segment plans, and regional growth initiatives
  • Own and deliver revenue, pipeline, and growth targets across assigned accounts and market segments
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, leading the commercial process from initial engagement through to award and launch
  • Act as the primary commercial representative to key customers, including executive-level stakeholders
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships across purchasing, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements
  • Develop and execute winning pursuit strategies based on customer needs, competitive landscape, and value proposition
  • Drive account penetration and white-space growth by identifying new applications and business opportunities
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional internal teams to support customer requirements and commercial success
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and quality to align internal capabilities with customer needs
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and present business cases, account strategies, and growth plans to senior leadership
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and account plans
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and delivery performance
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating planning processes
  • Lead escalation and resolution of commercial, operational, and delivery-related issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management within a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of growing key accounts and winning new business
  • Strong experience managing complex customer relationships and high-value commercial negotiations
  • Ability to develop and execute account growth strategies and business plans
  • Strong understanding of automotive or technical manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication and executive-level stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience working within cross-functional and global organizations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
