Our Client is a major global software supplier, backed by & partnered with a major OEM.

As a Software Resident Engineer, you will be embedded with a major automotive OEM, acting as the primary technical interface between the customer and my client's international engineering teams. You will support the integration, validation, and troubleshooting of infotainment software in development and pre-production vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical liaison between the OEM and internal software development teams
• Support integration and validation of infotainment software in vehicle and bench environments
• Diagnose and resolve software defects, system integration issues, and performance problems
• Analyze logs, traces, and system behavior to identify root causes
• Coordinate with global engineering teams to drive issue resolution and software improvements
• Provide technical feedback from customer programs to influence future product development

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or similar
• 3+ Years Experience in Automotive software development.
• Knowledge of Linux/Android-based infotainment systems
• Experience with C/C++, Python, or scripting languages
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work directly with customers in a fast-paced development environment
• Professional Working proficiency in Portuguese
• Professional working proficiency in English.
