Chris and I founded Techfueld in October 2022 with a clear objective:To become the go-to Vehicle Technology and E-Mobility recruitment partner for companies shaping the future of Automotive Mobility.

In our first three years, we’ve delivered on that ambition. We’ve partnered with global OEMs and leading Tier 1 suppliers, placing high-impact professionals across 17 countries worldwide. Every client we’ve worked with has partnered with us again following a successful first engagement, something we’re incredibly proud of, It speaks to the standard we operate at and the long-term relationships we prioritise.

My recruitment background sits firmly within the Electric Vehicle space. I’ve supported businesses across battery technology, e-powertrain and the wider EV ecosystem as the industry transitioned from early adoption into full-scale commercialisation. Working with innovators, Tier 1 suppliers and global OEMs across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia has given me a front-row seat to one of the most significant industrial shifts of our time and positioned me alongside the talent driving it.

As Techfueld has grown, so has our ambition.

Today, we partner with organisations across Automotive Mobility, Semiconductors and AI & Technology. My focus is building and leading our AI & Technology offering, supporting companies developing intelligent systems, advanced software and next-generation platforms.​

I work closely with founders, scaling businesses and established global players to build high-performing teams across engineering, commercial and executive functions. My approach is partnership-led, commercially sharp and long-term in mindset. Recruitment, to me, is not transactional. it is about alignment, trust and delivering outcomes that compound over time.

Outside of work, I’m a huge Arsenal fan. Whilst a quadruple would be nice, I’ll happily settle for a Premier League title, although a Champions League wouldn’t go amiss either. I’m a big foodie and always open to restaurant recommendations, which is exactly why staying consistent in the gym is non-negotiable. I’ve been playing padel for the best part of a year now and the love isn’t fading, it’s a top sport and I’d recommend anyone giving it a go. I love to travel, meet new people and experience different cultures, explaining why I would usually rather explore somewhere new than return somewhere familiar. I also take photos of almost everything. There is beauty everywhere if you look for it, and capturing it, even on an iPhone, is something I plan to invest more time in over the coming years.

At its core, recruitment is a people-first business. In a world increasingly shaped by AI and automation, I believe the human element remains irreplaceable. Those who thrive will be the ones who leverage AI to enhance efficiency while preserving judgement, relationships and emotional intelligence. Technology will evolve, but trust and human connection will always matter.

​Hi, I’m Chris, Co-founder and Director of Techfueld.

Over the past decade recruiting I have specialised in recruiting within the Automotive Technology & Semiconductor spaces, specialising within the areas of ADAS, Infotainment, Connectivity, Software and Electrification.

Over the years, I have supported numerous tier 1s, start-ups, chip providers, and OEMs in scaling their leadership, executive and engineering teams globally.

My clients and candidates have always respected my transparency, speed, and market knowledge. I am passionate about my niche, and throughout my time specialising within the vehicle technology space, I have also been able to travel the world visiting clients and candidates, attending conferences across Europe and the US, and confidently call myself an expert in my field.

Previously, I was the founding consultant and consistent top biller at a fast-growing automotive executive search agency and supported in scaling the team from 0 to a team of 18 and over doubled revenue YoY both as a team and personally.

Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family, travelling abroad and watching boxing over the weekend.

Before working in recruitment, I built a successful events company, throwing nightclub events in Essex, whilst also playing semi-professional football.

​Hi, I’m Matheus, Head of Division - Semiconductors & Mobility at Techfueld.

Originally from Brazil, I moved to the UK at 16 in pursuit of greater opportunities. Since then, I’ve built my career from the ground up - progressing from hospitality leadership into executive search, where I now lead Techfueld’s Semiconductors & Mobility division.

My journey shaped the way I lead: resilient, people-focused, and performance-driven. Having worked my way up from entry-level roles to leadership, I understand ambition firsthand. Today, I partner with innovative semiconductor and mobility businesses to secure the talent that drives technological advancement and market growth.

I specialise in building high-performing teams across cutting-edge sectors, combining strategic insight with a consultative, relationship-first approach. For me, recruitment isn’t transactional - it’s about long-term impact, trust, and delivering results that shape industries.

Outside of work, I’m a proud Brazilian who still chases waves when the UK weather allows, loves motorbikes & cars, and follows football passionately.
