Accenture introduces electric vehicles in transportation fleet in India
Accenture in India has taken a step forward to reinforce its dedication towards preserving the environment by incorporating electric vehicles within its transportation fleet.
This initiative sought to provide sustainable travel options that support climate resilience for Accenture’s workforce at four specific sites, namely Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and the National Capital Region.
Approximately 200 eco-friendly automobiles are currently getting integrated into Accenture’s Indian troop of efficient vehicles.
In line with Accenture’s worldwide obligation to promote actual environmental progress and operate sustainable businesses, which involves attaining net-zero emissions by 2025 end, reducing waste production entirely, and preparing for water-related problems.
As of the year 2022, Accenture has already attained a renewable energy mix exceeding over 99% in its facilities while reusing or recycling all electronic waste connected to computers and workstations situated in India.
