Owners of Toyota and Lexus electric vehicles will soon have access to over 12,000 of Tesla’s Supercharger DC fast chargers across North America!
Toyota recently reached an agreement with Tesla to gain access to Tesla’s charging network and adopt the NACS (North American Charging Standard) connector.
This move is set to significantly increase the number of DC fast chargers available to Toyota and Lexus owners.
Toyota and Lexus EVs sold in the U.S. from 2025 will feature the NACS connector built-in, making charging a breeze.
Even vehicles with a CCS connector will receive an adapter for access to Tesla’s chargers.
This strategic move is part of Toyota’s ambitious electric vehicle plans, aiming to launch 30 EVs worldwide by 2030 and turn Lexus into an EV brand.
