Position Overview:
An industry-leading provider of high-definition mapping solutions is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to support commercial growth within the automotive sector. This role will focus on expanding strategic partnerships with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The position is based in Michigan with a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales strategy and execution across North American automotive accounts.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at OEMs and Tier 1s.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead contract negotiations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Track market trends to inform growth strategy and client targeting.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in automotive sales, ideally within mapping, ADAS, or mobility tech.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex B2B sales cycles.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions in a client-friendly manner.
- Skilled in pipeline development, strategic account planning, and forecasting.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in automotive sales or business development.
- Previous experience selling to or working with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers is essential.
