Overview of the Role
As Speaker Resident Engineer, you’ll serve as the on-site technical liaison for OEM vehicle programs in the U.S., bridging customer needs with internal engineering teams. This includes supporting speaker integration, acoustic validation, testing, troubleshooting, and launch readiness. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, review CAD data, contribute to design improvements, and support demo/show car setups, ensuring speaker systems meet performance, timing, cost, and quality requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in car speaker development, with knowledge of latest technologies (AVAS, exciters, etc.)
• Strong skills in acoustic testing, parameter measurement (f0, sensitivity, BL, etc.), and troubleshooting
• Ability to read drawings, review CAD (CATIA v6), and create 2D documentation
• Hands-on capability with soldering, mechanical tasks, and prototype adjustments
• Experience with Jira/DevOps tools; knowledge of customer data exchange systems a plus
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and proactive problem-solving skills; audio installation knowledge (car/home) beneficial
